Called to tell me that HMRC had files a lawsuit against me, inviting me to press 1 to speak to the case officer. I hung up. Called the number, went through a series of transfers (clicks etc)and an Indian voice answered HMRC. On asking a pointed question, he hung up.

Claiming to be HRMC, police would be arrest me if I don't pay taxes. They know many personal informations. Looks professional but HMRC would not contact in this way

Usual Mumbai rubbish........ check out youtube for scammers... Started in USA now here.. last week same number telling me my phone number was being used for illegal purposes and the week before it was my PC causing trouble giving out info on me... BULL###T GIVE IT UP!!!
