    I am writing in complaint to an experience with 2 loan brokerage companes that I recently had. I am a person who is on benefits so the whole online loan experience for me is completely new. Just after Christmas and before New Year's Eve I' had an emegency that required me to have my 19yr old dog put to sleep. Being my dog, Benn, has seen me through the rougest times of homelesness and substance abuse the relationship was more than Benn being just a "pet". I felt it only proper to have him cremated and brought home. The arrangements were made that I would pay for it with my next Benefit pay out. Unfortunately, on 05/01/15 I received a call asking for a deposit. I explained my situation and when I hung up I felt my only means for obtaining the £30 deposit was to try for a payday loan as if I obtained one for £100 , I would be able to pay the costs for the cremation in whole and then pay the loan back within 8 days. The interest would be very minimal of between £17-20. I was not looking for an amount thats was well beyond my means or somethng long term that would financially put me in debt. Needless to say I was told on numerous occasions I was accepted and all I needed to do was submit my banking details and the money would be deposited into my account. I was then given a 0900 number. I was informed upon calling I would be charged £1.53 per minute which would be reimbursed upon my submitting my phone bill. I agreed. Then I am bombarded by a spiel on codes and such. This goes on for 10 minutes to be told I need to call back in 10 minutes with lenders who are going to give me the loan. But wait, hadn't I already been told i had been approved by them the first 10 seconds of the call. When I called back i was then given 5 names of companies who would be contacting me with approved loans all I had to do was povide my banking details if i agreed to the terms and it would be deposited within 2 hours. Before I could even hang up, my cell phone was bombarded by offer's from lenders who had already turned me down that the brokerage company had released my details to. It wasnt until the second call about 5 mintes later from another brokerage company while waiting to hear back from the first that it all clicked when the same spiel was reeled off to me. I declined right then and there and did not call the second 0900 number i was given to me. When I noticed these same lenders were lenders in had gone directly to online, had applied and been turned down, I decided I would not call back. I looked online, input the phone numbers I was given into a reverse directory to find out they are a complete scam. That people never get their money back for their calls. One such site has 26 such complaints. I decided to call them back on the 0800 number to question this. As I was speaking to someone named Mitch I was again bombarded with sms message from companies who had blatantly emailed me that i had been declined. NOT ONLY DID THIS OCCUR, but the brokers were now trying to offer me triple the amount of money I was asking for when declined, saying saying I was approved. When I phoned the 0800 number up to inquire about the refund I stated that I had called looking for a loan and after going online and reading reviews I was concerned after looking online I would not get my refund. I then stated thati felt i was scammed into a 20 minute call at 1.53 per minute. The woman on the other end didnt hesitate to inform me that my call had only been 14min 52seconds. They know how long i was on the phone for and they have my reference number. They know the call is a fixed price and being that they have all of my details why does it take for them to be in reciept of my phone statement in 45 days when they can see it in front of them. They even were able to tell me what number i was calling from. Now here I am lumbered with a phone bill almost equal to the amount i wanted to borrow and no loan. The only reason i accepted the charges to begin with was because i was told in the beginning i was approved for the loan and the call would be reimbursed. I was given the impression that all i would be doing was getting the loan and would have to pay the interest charges to find out that is not the case. I was also then sent an email from the brokerage companies that I would now be charged a 149.99 brokerage fee for their finding me a lending company. This was never stated to me during the phone call that i would be charged a brokerage fee. I would never even have considered it as I know will not have that extra amount to pay on top of the loan when my benefits arrived let alone agree to pay a fee for something that I was now being told isnt guaranteed. I have been trying very hard to clean my credit report in the past 7 years from previous mistakes as a youth. Had any information been directly dislcosed to me at any time during the call I would have immediately declined any offers nor would i have called any 0900 numbers as I had on a previous calls that day from other companies that called me about loans ho disclosed to me verbally there would be a fee. There were even 2 transactions on my bank account to make sure my account was valid from these so called approved loans. It only made sense to me to think that i was approved which made it reasonsable in calling the 0900 number. Remove my details asap or I will seek a law suit against your you and your scamming loan brokerage companies you deal with so fuck off stop hassling me you've been reported all over the country and onbudsman And so as you number
