RTA business consultants, asking to speak to the business owner, sound British but these nuisance calls are rather irritating. They call from at least two numbers, 0161 443 1990, and 0161 918 0023. Obviously they never got to speak to the boss.

She Called 3 times in the space of 3 minutes to ask to speak to the business owner. 1st time I told her the owner doesn't want to receive nuisance call. 2nd time I told her to stop this kind of call or I'd get very, very rude for I'm ordinary man, not a saint. 3rd time I told her:"I told you to never call again. I'm expecting a very important call. You stupid f?????g wicked b??ch.." The phone went dead. I felt really really bad. She had been warned. Why should she ignore the respect for her? For the sake of business ? Is losing respect a good way to do business? Life is already hard enough. They should not make life harder for people.

Received a call from this number, answered but no-one spoke. Decided to stay on the line to see what happened. Complete silence for about 30 seconds then the line went dead. When I 1471'd I got the number 0161 918 0023. On calling the number, I am informed that "This number is temporarily out of order"! Can someone please explain to me the legality of this? The number is obviously NOT out of order when they call me but it is when I call them? Of course it's a scam and, as usual, there seems to be no recourse of action but to leave messages on sites like this. The company should be fined for every negative message, the fine should be per letter so that, in the case of long messages like this, reflecting my annoyance, their fine would be greater. It's far too easy now for companies to hide behind automation systems and cold-calling routines, there really needs to be some clampdown on these b****rds!
Finally, OH WHAT IRONY! that I have to prove that I'm not a robot in order to post this! FFS! Ever wondered what side the authorities are on? Ha! -

claimed to be from the Telephone Preference service you could tell by the time lag that it was from India going through a uk Manchester number. they were saying that our caller preference is out of date & needs renewing, didn't go any further to see what they were going to sell.

These scum call me several times a week, have done for months, they sometimes say they are a debt collection firm, other times specialists in selling businesses, etc. DO NOT TRUST THEM. they never take no for an answer, I just say no and hang up.

Every day I receive an automatic voicemail saying RTA tried to contact me and they are sorry that no agent was available! I don't know how to stop it and I don't want to have to call them!
I cannot block the caller as it never rings but straight into voicemail. -

Had dealings with RTA a few years ago and they were totally useless and not to be trusted. Had a call yesterday from this number and they are now calling themselves something like Business Associates, claiming they had a buyer waiting to buy my business and could they call back with details. Got a call from 0161 975 1500 but they hung up before I could answer. I have already reported them to Trading Standards to no avail. Recommend you waste there time but trust them with nothing!

Called and asked to speak to the business owner. Asked what it was about and he mumbled something over a very bad line, asked his to repeat and heard him say "oh my gosh, go away" and hung up. How very rude of him! :)

Rude, threatening. Asked for the business owener, wouldn't disclose subject of call (said it was confidential) however did say the business owner had "requested a callback" Said he would contact the business owner and tell them I had wasted his time and opportunity. Very rude and agressive.

This number rings my mobile 2-3 times a week and they are a pain. They ask 'are you considering selling the business?'. I say 'no'. They call back 2-3 days later to ask the same thing. Even if I was selling my company there is no way on earth that I would sell it using these harrasing cowboys as agents.

Receiving 2 or more automated voicemails a day now after years of call harassment. I have pleaded with them to remove our number from their system but it has fallen on deaf ears!
I have block their number , BUT somehow they are able to get voicemail straight to my inbox without my mobile even ringing!! Any legal suggestions on how to stop these people??!!! -

Call multiple times a week. 'RTA Business Consultants' promise to sell your business for a nice sum, fail to deliver on their promise and then when you cancel your agreement with them, they sue you for up to £5k.
Most of their callers are very persistent and you need to be adamant not to talk to them or give any details away - the last call I had, I managed to annoy the woman to the extent that they most likely won't call back.
These guys are bad news, judging by the research I've done on them. DO NOT do any business with them, DO NOT sign anything, DO NOT answer the phone to them at all if you can help it.
