have continued to receive calls from this number for over a year. Today the caller got aggressive and his behaviour constituted harassment and to the extent that I uttered expletives to stop the harassment and in the end had to put the phone down!

Answered a call from this number, lady informed me she was from the PPI team. I told her I was at work and asked could she remove my details to which she replied ' you said you're at work all you had to say was can you call me another time not remove my details - you don't even know what I'm calling about.' Needless to say I terminated the call and have blocked the number. No professional company would allow staff to speak to potential clients in this was.

I've been bothered with plenty of PPI calls before in the past, but the call I had from this number was SO aggressive – shouting down the phone after I asked to be taken off their list. And because I obviously did not appreciate being screamed at down the phone by a stranger, I put the phone down and he then called straight back shouting at me again for putting the phone down. Absolutely disgusting. I'll reporting them to everyone I can!!

couldn't understand what he was saying, told him to take me off his calling list, he got insistent saying so you don't want me to save you money, I said no and he argued again so I told him to go forth and multiplyand hung up. He phoned back to ask me did I speak to my family like that, lol. So I said no but my husband was here if he would like to speak to him and I told him to 'go away' again and hung up. He rang back a third time so I gave the phone to my husband, aw he didn't want to talk to him.

The number keeps calling but I don't answer. My reasoning is they will leave a message for me if they need me. Best think to do is only answer numbers in your phone book when the individuals name pops up.... Add to phone book if it's a genuine call after they've left a message... Now blocked...

Ppi- keep calling me, told them to do one, but they keep calling back on a number very similar to the last one they try. Keep blocking their numbers. Got 10 very similar numbers all Ppi, all from Manchester, all blocked till they find another number to call from. Got you number matey and you fucking blocked.

Screened call this morning. Checked online. Immediately blocked number. Scammers.
cthonus replied 1/11/16, 11:31 PMThis telephone number is being used by a South African Call centre, pretending to be based in Manchester. Blocking this call centre on your mobile does not work, as these cold callers will use another Digital Mail telephone number. Blocking them would put ultimately put you back to ground zero as in dealing with this so called PPI Team. This call centre already made calls using Digital Mail's other telephone numbers, like 0161 939 0225, 0161 939 0228, 0161 939 0335, and 0161 939 0442. The only real solution is to ring Digital Mail on their support line which is 020 7060 2000, during their business hours. If enough of us call Digital Mail, then this would put a proper stop to this PPI scam. Otherwise this South African call centre will use another Digital Mail number if every one just blocks them as you suggested, it's your choice!!!!! -

RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, REFUSED TO REMOVE MY PHONE NUMBER UNLESS I ANSWER THREE QUESTIONS..STATED HE WAS JUST DOING HIS JOB AND CONTINUED TO REFUSE TO REMOVE MY NUMBER
