  1. James Falkford reported Digital Mail Ltd with the number 01619390454

I picked up all from this number, mostly the same as others. I lady who I answered the phone to told me I am owed PPI from my back, she claimed to work from company that is in association with PPI refunds called PPI team, which was not a real company (actually based in South Africa). This lady told me soon I would have had a letter sent to me, and all she needed from me was to confirm my address and post code before she could send it. Their way of confirming my address meant that I had to completely tell her the exact address and post code, just for her match records on the main database. I presume she is trying to do some phishing with any information they collect about me, so they can try to gain access to my banking account. Which this could be expensive and valuable lesson if I am stupid to divulge my personal to them and if they are successful in their attempts to scam and defraud me out of my hard earned savings. I explained to this young lady that I wasn't telling unknown PPI cold callers my name, I even asked her to send the letter with the information she got on file with my bank. She could not send this letter unless I confirm my address with her, I told her that will be fine as I told her that I was not interested in making any claim against my bank or credit card. So I told her to take me off her calling list and she still tried to tell me I must confirm my details with her. After all my bank gave her company my telephone number for this lady called me, and I must comply with her barking orders just like that. She claimed she was acting on behalf of several high street banks processing PPI refunds, which included mine If they were genuinely contracted by my bank they would already have all the necessary information needed to refund me this money. My bank could have reversed the charges that they were not entitled to collect, why hire a bunch of foreigners who do not have any customer experience yet alone basic english speaking skills. So I put the phone down on her, just for her to ring me call back!!! She got aggressive and explained to me but shouting at me like I was disobedient child, I need to listen to her on helping me get a refund from my bank. This lady was trying to explain to me that I did not know what she is calling about of I did not listen to what she had to say, it almost sounded like she is talking down to me as if I was an idiot. I will be contacting Action Fraud on this foreign call centre along with Digital Mail has they were the ones who provided these telephone numbers and services to these South African scammers? Reporting them to Action Fraud is our only option at this time and number for Action Fraud is 0300 123 2040 as many regulars have already reported Digital Mail. I have learned blocking this PPI team does not work as they would go around the block with another 0161 939 telephone number as I have already blocked them on 0161 939 0225. Please include as much information as possible about these scammers and much information about Digital Mail as this company is responsible for allowing these cold calling foreigners to make these scam calls to us in the first place.
