  1. Denise Phillps reported Digital Mail Ltd. with the number 01619390454

I got 30 missed calls from this number this month at work. The missed the 2 first calls yesterday from them, and they did never left a message in my mailbox, so I did not think it was important at all. Soon as I picked it up up on the 3rd and last time from these cold callers. I finally got someone over the telephone saying he's from calling from some PPI Team in Manchester, which I never heard of. As soon as I told him that I was not interested, and to please remove my business number from his list. This chap got so rude! saying things like "I didn't say I was going to remove your number" no but I asked you to. He kept telling me bluntly that he won't honour my request to be removed from his calling list. He has shouting at me all of sudden, "Why should I listen to you when you're not wiling to listen to me". He kept insisting that I did not know what PPI is, and since you're not going to listen to me so why should I listen to you". I told him that I never had PPI on any of my business or personal accounts with any bank in the United Kingdom and he was being rude for not honouring my please do not ring me ever. This chap try to tell that I was not being very straight forward and I could still claim PPI against my bank and I was being very rude to him over the phone. My colleague then took over the phone call and nicely asked to remove my number from his list, as I can not deal with this hassle. He got aggressive towards my colleague by asking him, "what the hell does he know about my needs" he even dared to say it wasn't about PPI when he clearly heard him before with shouting about asking him to remove my number from his list. They are still calling my work telephone today, I had close to 50 missed called from this number? This call centre does not follow any of the UK regulation, in regards to cold calling. Even after me and colleague explained to this chap yesterday that we were not interested into claiming PPI with him and he even asked not to call my telephone. This chap even had the nerves to tell my colleague that he will ring my telephone number every day until I answer his questions about PPI!! What do we have to comply with this call centres demands or they have every right to harass us. I already told him before, that I have no PPI to claim, this should have been the end of it. I guess I was wrong with these cold calling scammers!!!!! Well I after reading the comments in here, I see this PPI Team is a scam, based somewhere in South Africa not Manchester as it appears with the telephone number he called me on. I see some in here have blocked these callers, well it ain't going to work. Being based in South Africa, means most of our government is not going to prosecute these foreign ppl. Digital Mail has admitted on their 0161 939 0225 number, that they have sold their telephone services to a unscrupulous group of cold callers based in South Africa. Our office has gotten these nuisance calls from this so called PPI Team for the past 2 years on several different Digital Mail numbers. These are the same ppl who rang my office number on their 0161 939 0225 number, Digital Mail does not seem to be much of a help in getting their clients to cease calling us. Digital Mail must be making good money from their client, so they are pretending to be on our side in correcting this matter. Even I found by ignoring these foreign ppl does not work either as they already rang my number so far today 50 times, if enough of us ignore them or block their telephone numbers. It seems most likely that this South African call centre will order up another 0161 939 from Digital Mail, which will go around the blocks many have set up before to stop this madness. I will take cthonus advice and call Digital Mail as soon as this PPI calls my business line. I can and will make Digital Mail's life a misery, as their clients are making my life a living hell.
