This numbers rings my nursery alot!!! After being informed i need to renew my contact for gas and electric which runs out next month i did argue i'm in contract till 2025 and they should already know this he then got aggressive and said i must fill in paper work as my prices have all changed and when i asked for my password which total gas asked me to set in cases like this he told me to shut up my mouth which i then slammed the phone down.

Said they were British Gas and contract coming to an end. Then transferred me to go through some T&Cs. Asked what the T&Cs were for and what they were asking me to agree to. Only then did they say it was for a new contract. Advised them politely to go away as already sorted and not telling them who I'm going with. Had the same issue with them last year. Total scam and can be persistent and very rude.
