Just a phone call from this number. The ‘lady’ who called me said she was contacting me regarding an accident I’d had in my vehicle. I asked which accident she was referring to and she said ‘the accident in [my local town] last year’. Alarming that she knew my location. I asked which vehicle she was referring to and she told me she could not reveal that due to data protection. I asked her how I could discuss the accident if she would not give me more details.
At this point she became extremely rude and aggressive and shouted that she didn’t believe I had an accident at all (quite right, I hadn’t, which is why I was trying to find out where she got my mobile number from). She starting yelling about how I was needlessly wasting her time and that she wasn’t going to argue with me! Incredible. Don’t give them any information, and I’d add this number to your ‘block’ list.
