The usual telling me that I had been involved in an accident, she hung up abruptly when I started to ask where she'd got my number from.

Emma Macintosh calling to confirm I had been in a no fault car accident in the last 3 years. Claimed my details were obtained from the RTA Statistics Dept which doesn't really exist.
Phishing call to farm whiplash claims, avoid! -
A young woman informed me that i had been involved in a car accident and was this correct? I informed her i had not been in a car accident and that i was registered with the Telephone Preference Service and asked her to take my details off any Call lists and i bid her goodbye and promptly put the phone down.
