Called at around 5.10pm. Saying they were Jonathan Rooney from Road Traffic Aftercare Team. When I asked for their contact number, they gave 01704 222221. He tried to get me to assume that he was acting on behalf of my insurance company, and that the accident I had was deemed to be 100% liability of the 3rd party. As I had spoken to my insurance company 30 minutes earlier, and they told me it was going to take 3 months to ascertain liability, this phonecall was obviously a scam. If I hadn't been talking to my insurance company earlier, I may have inadvertently given this company further details, as they had my name, my landline (which is ex directory) and my insurance company name. Upon calling the number back, it rings twice and then goes dead. Please be aware.
