This number has called my mobile phone 6 times since 12/05.I haven't picked up because I presume they are trying to sell me something.
-
received a phone call twice from this no.claiming theyre from Vodafone offering me an unlimited text 2gig mobile data ang 1,000 min calls time.if I upgrade to them to a Samsung galaxy S6!! Rubbish!! wasnt born yesterday mate!!
-
Selling an early upgrade - knew my name, contract details and were able to send me a one-time access code to show they were calling from VodafoneUK. Although when checking on Vodafone website the number was 1 digit different with the 8 at the end and not a 9.
-
Aggresive marketing from Vodafone. And it *is* Vodafone - the number is listed on their site: http://support.vodafone.co.uk/Calls-texts-and-voicemail/Calls-from-Vodafone/38912113/Is-it-Vodafone-calling.htm

Ignored daily calls from this number for over a week. Finally answered just to ask them to stop calling me.
Was told it was Vodafone and they had my number because it used to be a Voda number before I had it.
Straight away I said I wasn't interested then caller became rude and then aggressive. In the end I had to hang up just to stop the argument about whether it was reasonable for them to be calling me. I've blocked the number on my phone now. There's no way this is actually Vodafone - way too unprofessional. -
Persistently receiving calls to my mobile from this number. Answered once accidentally and heard them introdu e themselves mentioning my surname. Just hung up to annoy them like they are me!
-
Had a call from this number today. They hung up as soon as I answered so I called back from a landline to find it was Vodafone. I can only assume that they have a team working through list to see if numbers are live, and to be followed up by a sales call. Number now blocked.
-
I called this number back and they said it was vodafone. He wanted to chat about my contract but got disconnected. I contacted vodafone to check if this number was them and they confirmed that it was a courtesy call from them, so it seemed to be genuine.

Multiple calls each day from this number. No message left.

I received this phone call 3 times and each time i haven't answered the phone. Since seeing these comments im glad i am not.

Twice I have received calls from this number. The first time I missed the call; no message left. The following day they called for a second time. I answered but they hung up on me! My guess is that someone is updating a database of useful information for scamming purposes. If it's a 'genuine' sales call, it is not being run by a reliable or trustworthy organisation. Just don't answer.

Asked for some person, not me. i said they must have wrong number. then some gobbledegook about my number being registered vodaphone.asked how long i'd had the number. Told them it was none of their business and hung up.
-
They told me my number was very old and i should change to Vodafone for a better deal. Then tried to sell me a phone and contract for £25 per month discounted for the first 3 months. At this point I hung up. They called me back later and when I answered they hung up.
-
Very aggressive man suggesting I had a vodaphone phone number from years ago which belonged to them. I told him I had my number for 20yrs he suggested they had been around over 40yrs and it was registered with them...I didn't know we had mobile phones 40yrs ago....I told him I had never been with vodaphone and now never wanted to be!
I then hung up. -
telling u your mobile number belongs to them and u need to move to there service ive had my number from 2000 and its always been an O2 number

I've been getting constant calls from this number which have gone "dead" when I pick up for weeks. Yesterday they finally told me they were from Vodaphone and my number was one of their numbers so they needed it back. They needed to move me to their contract. When I said it had never been a Vodaphone number they then said would anyone else I know be interested!

Answered an unexpected phone call from this number earlier on today, but they just hung up on me when I did so. Upon calling this number back, there is a brief recording say something like 'You've been called by Vodafone today about a non-urgent matter, please hold to be transferred to an advisor'.
I am not with Vodafone, never have been, and don't really want to be so I don't really understand why they're suddenly calling me on my personal non-Vodafone mobile phone - a number which I don't even recall ever having given them, directly or indirectly, nor even recall actually giving them permission to call me on.
Nevertheless, I'll let them call me back to see exactly what they want (probably just a sales call...) before asking them to stop calling me. FWIW, if they call me again I will warn them than any further calls after that will be treated as harassment (criminal harassment after the second offence, etc.), and so if needs be I _will_ take this matter further.
