Called saying he was from a computer company and asked if I was I front if my computer. I strung him along to see where he was going with it and then he started asking me to press certain buttons on the keyboard. I asked him why I would do it abs it was todo with spam coming to my computer and he wanted to protect my computer against it. At this point I asked if he thought he had found a mug to do what he asked and told him I was going to report them to the police. I asked got his number to which he gave me a random 0800 number which was well made up as he went as he got very confused when doing so. After I hung up I called 1471 and was left with this number. Hope nobody falls for it!!!!

A woman with a foreign accent rang on April 4th. She knew my name and said she was ringing to alert me that there were problems with my computer. When I quizzed her as to how she knew this she was vague and aggressive. I told her that I thought she was trying to scam me - the line immediately went dead. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM, THIS WOMAN IS TRYING TO CON PEOPLE!

The caller said that she was from a tax company. My computer would upload spam. Why should you care. Well she wanted to "help" me. Would certainly cost a lot, but on the cost they could give any information.
