I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known 'Windows Technical Helpdesk' scam. Once I told him as much, he rang off. I called the number back, and it is not recognised. This was an amateurish attempt at reproducing a tired and worn-out scam. Unfortunately some people will still be fooled, so it is still dangerous.
