   This number is from a recruitment agency. They make cold calls, probably to businesses. Even though you might be a business, it is still unacceptable for people to call you and hang up without waiting for you to answer the phone, or to fail to leave a message. However, we are a business, we ourselves are a recruitment agency so we do not need their services but we have never used them, or their services; we have never been on their mailing list or required information from them. We are ex-directory and registered with TPS and FPS but this still doesn't stop these nuisances getting your details and using them illegally. When you call them, they want the name of your business to stop calling you, this is not necessary, they should be able to identify you from you giving them the phone number that they are calling you on. The bloke on the end of the line then starts giving you rubbish like 'It wasn't me, it could have been one of my colleagues' - this is irrelevant, just tell them to take your number out of the database and stop calling you or you will report them to the Information Commissioner's Office and to the regulatory authorities. Then block them in your phone, but more important take the time to report them on this and their websites.
