   getting this a lot from this number. would not be so bad if they left a telephone message saying who they are! but they always ring off when the answerphone kicks in... my PoV is - if they can't leave a message explaining who and why, then !'m not going to ring them back.

   Warwick Street, Longridge, Preston, PR3 3EB, according to the very helpful map showing location of the phone ringing me... "reverse lookup" is as helpful as a chocolate teapot because apparently it's illegal in this country. (Host a service like this from the USA, which has different laws?) But there's no bar on looking at a map and seeking to identify the offender from that... there are several possibilities and one makes me, er, dizzy. but listing them here might be ilegal and get this posting pulled...

   This is a PPI company who make unsolicited calls, hang up when you answer and want you to ring back to a premium rate number...it's a SCAM

   Called me twice and hung up after one ring on each occasion. When I tried to call back I was left on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up.

   received a call from this number on my mobile; when I answered no one spoke and the call was ended. I called back on my landline, there was the usual music and "your call is important to us" message, but no indication of what company I was calling. After 5 minutes on hold I rang off
