At 2:30 today they telephoned my house and Panicked my mom who is 75 years old by saying the lady on the phone from advantage needed to speak to me urgent and she was calling from the Hospital.
I rang the number straight back 01782 401123 and found out it was this debt collector I explained what had happened and asked to speak to a manager so I could make a complaint and was told there is no way you can speak to a manager unless you leave your number and they will call you back within 7 days. I expressed that I felt this is unacceptable and was told tough that's the way it is. -

Received a call and upon answering received an automated message telling
me it was an important call and to dial 1. Upon doing so and enquiring what it was about I was told it was a personal business matter. Upon further enquiry I was advised that I must answer some security (i.e. personal questions) first. I declined
advising the operator that I would report the call. From this site I understand that it is a debt collection agency and I do have a dispute with a well known company who have been harassing me although they refuse to take the matter to court, which I would welcome.Curious replied 10/22/16, 11:54 AMThe "well known company" wouldn't be BT by any chance would it? I terminated my contract with them after the minimum period expired, and they sent me a "final bill" with all sorts of hidden extras never declared at the outset, which I refused to pay, setting out detailed reasons in each case. BT ignored countless letters and referred the alleged non-existent "debt" to a Glasgow debt collector, which declined to take it further when I supplied the case history to them. BT waited a year and then referred the non-existent "debt" to a second, Leeds-based debt collector, who once again dropped the case after I outlined the facts to them. The fact is that BT can have as many bites at the cherry as it likes, without ever answering correspondence, and just restarting its harassment again with some new debt collector (there is no lack of them). BT is a totally unethical company. -

Calls daily from this Company recorded message telling me to urgently call 08448241830. Have since discovered on internet it is a debt re ovrry company. As i owe nothing to anyone they have no reason to harrass me. Would think i would re ieve correspondence from whoever i owe money to not a recorded phone message. Reorted to TPS and ICO.

Getting daily automated calls asking me to press "1" to speak to an advisor. Given I have no outstanding debts nor have been chased by any organisation for payment they should have no reason to call a number that is ex-directory.

This fake debt company called "advantis" is a scam. Using various methods to try and obtain information for credit fraud and identify theft of anyone it calls at random. Tell the person calling to get lost and pass your complaint on to the police.
