I had somebody come to the house and quote me on new windows. They said that they were doing a discount because of some government scheme but after quoting me a ridiculous price the salesman informed me that the discount was suddenly going to run out and that I had about 24 hours to agree to buy the windows.
The person who came to the house was very polite but the company don't have a good reputation, and the prices are ridiculous, I'd recommend not answering. -

Don't very often speak to cold callers but did today and was told it was a government backed scheme to replace old windows with new at discounted prices. I told the guy I was not interested at the moment, he said if I had a quote now I could keep that quote until I needed to replace my existing windows. I agreed for somebody to come and measure the windows on condition they measured and left, he jokingly (I thought) told me they would not be staying for tea and biscuits. I had a call at 4.30 asking If they could still come, I said yes as long as you don't stay long. He very rudly asked if I wanted new windows, I said no not at the moment, His reply I won't bother coming then and put the phone down on me. Is this how all government backed company address their potential customers ??
