After applying on-line for free replacement boiler I received an E-mail saying I would be contacted about my application for insulation grant!! then had call from this number and a man with an Indian accent asked if I was Mrs Simpson when I said no said he was from Nationwide Energy at which point I said no thank you and hung up. He was not calling from the company I was told would contact me nor had I applied for an insulation grant.

I am sick of them harassing my 13yr old daughter. I have already told them to stop but they persist in calling her all hours of the day!! A nusience and unwanted and seem a desperate seedy company to harass a teenager!!!

They call 2 or 3 times a day, and when i answer, i always hear a conversation going on between the people in the office, then they go silent and hang up. I called back today and spoke to a sales agent Maurice James, who said he would remove my number from their account. BEfore he had chance to put the phone down on me i asked him to confirm the number and address and name of who he had listed, and he came up with a name, address and postcode which are definitely not me. It was only when i got his name and position he seemed panicky and assured me he had taken us off the system there and then. We shall see...............

I only got info from their first call to me they wanted to know how i paid for my electricity needless to say the info they got from me was totally useless to them. I have added their number to my zap list on my truecall call blocker this now handles their calls without my phone ringing. So any more of these calls will be given the same treatment. I was also pestered by scammers with strange phone numbers and numbers with held these are also given the truecall treatment. i now get a call once every three days still trying out my phone deffences they are still there and are working fine.

If I answer the call then the line cuts almost immediately and if I don't then there is never any message left on the answering machine.
Calls come in at all times of the day; the latest they've called is about 9pm which is not acceptable at all!! -

For the past fortnight we've been getting calls from this number every day. It was the final straw last night when they called at 8.30pm when I was trying to get some sleep to get up for a 4am early shift at work this morning. My husband called them straight back and asked them why they were calling at such an inappropriate time. First off they asked for someone else, then they said that they had a license to call that late from the government.... At which my husband rolled his eyes (he works for local government) and asked for the number to be taken off their register. I get in from my shift and lo and behold, they've called twice. Am getting incredibly fed up.

called by 01792 720230 regarding free insulation and the fact that the comany was recommended by my favourite GOVERNMENT???/ Later tried with another number 01792 746610.. These people are a pain in the buttttt.. Did my usual Russian immigrant replay on the second attempt yet they STILL tried to flog me loft insulation.. What a pain

Calling trying to get us to have cavity wall/loft insulation. We've told them we've already had it done but they still keep calling. They also use 0161 772 7700.
I've told them to remove my number from their database - if they call me once more I'm going to report them for harassment as we are on TPS! -

Did I know about loft insulation and cavity wall that is available on the government grant? Yep! Now we are not selling anything but we can have this installed for you. Nope and you are selling. I am quite capable of doing this myself and it has already been done by a company that I sort out. Anyway yo called me before about this not so long ago and I told you the same thing. So go away!

They tried ringing before using 08009234349 but now they've realised I don't answer this sort of number, they are trying with a land-based std number. Very very sneaky. Avoid.

repeatedly rings early evening. If asked the company or her name they hang up. They do not with hold their telephone number. rang them on their direct line 01792311578 and they gave me a false 0800 number to complain to.
A repeat call to the direct line said they would get their customer service dept to ring me back. They never did. AVOID

Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn't know(!). I said "So you come into work every day, but you don't know where that is?!?"
I therefore did my usual trick & said: "Well, I'm not interested but my brother is, he's out in the garden, I'll go and get him for you". I then put the receiver down next to the phone, got a drink out, put my feet up & watched the TV. After 10 mins I could hear a little voice starting to say: "Hello....? Hello.....? Hello.......?" I carried on watching the TV for a further 10 mins (total 20 mins) + several more "Hello....?"s, until she finally gave up & put her phone down. Needless to say, I don't have a brother, nor do I have a garden!
I always do this whenever I have nuisance callers. It works a treat as they never ring back. I'm also doing a public service as a) it wastes their time & money (they pay for the call), and b) while they're waiting for my non-existent brother to 'come in from the garden', they can't pester other people.
The Company is called Nationwide Energy Services & my 'reverse telephone area codes' book tells me they're based in the Morriston area of Swansea. Strange that the caller didn't know that though....
