Got my name wrong, probably as a prompt for me to correct it so they obtain the correct one. Suggesting I upgrade my "obsolete" inverter (WTF, cost 2 grand!!) with series of micro-inverters. Called 5 times today. These people are going to get busted very soon at this rate.

Got a call from this number a couple weeks back and they were asking about my solar panels order, however, I told them that they have the wrong number as I did not order any solar panels and I do not own any solar panels. She then asked for my full name and address so that she can confirm that I am not in the system and so she can take me off if incorrect (very fishy). I told them they definitely have the wrong number, but she still wanted my full name and address. I gave them a bogus name and told them to take me off their calling list and hung up. 2 weeks later I got a missed call from the same number. Didn't call back.

Got my name partially wrong. Knew I already had solar panels and said they could make them up to 25% more efficient. Theoretically possible if you have partial shading and all panels are in series feeding a single inverter - the procedure is to fit an inverter to each panel so those in shade don't hold back the whole lot. Simply not worth it in the majority of cases - there would be a big cost (I didn't ask how much) and it would only make a difference on a sunny day if shading was from something big like a tree.
