Took a call from this company asking whether I had life insurance. When I said I was not interetsed he was very aggressive insisting I told him whether I had cover or not. Call was ended by me immediately as all cold calls get this treatment!!!

received a call on my office phone, I excuse myself, answer and ask to be recalled as I am in a meeting. This guy goes on saying "you are very rude in answering in a call in a meeting". I said "I have excused myself" - he goes "so you are no longer in a meeting now and we can talk".

better off just blocking these fools from calling you again. I get 2 - 3 calls a day, the majority of the time they hang up when I answer. When they do speak it's questions about life insurance (why would i want to divulge to a complete stranger from an unknown company details about me). Anyway today was the last straw they've been blocked from calling me again.

I said thank you but I am not interested.
They replied on a very rude way: "I am not asking you if you are interested or not, just if you have or not a life insurance".
I said no thanks, and goodbye.
I doubt that would be the best way to communicate with customers...

Looked them up online, found their website http://1stlineprotect.com
I then looked at their address on google maps street view and funnily enough, the address is a terraced house.

Was called from this number today, I answered, they hung up. Searched number on here and found this thread.
*** TIP *** Most modern Android phones allow you to block calls from a particular contact. Create a contact in your phonebook and call it something like "Blocked Contacts". Set your phone to block calls from this contact. Every time you get a cold call from a company like this, just add the number to your address book to this "Blocked Contact". It should allow you to add as many numbers as you want, to the same contact. Whatever company they are from, they will never get through to you again using that number. Quite simple and straight forward really. -

Called me to review my life insurance policy. Was aware I had already got one and my name. 1st something or other. Very polite asian gentleman. Funny how I had only changed my address on current policy this morning and said I was going to think about reviewing it! Think I might be cancelling with them if they are passing my detail on.

Called 2 days ago about life insurance. Firmly told caller I was not interested, so they attempted to aggressively shout over me. I then told them to delete my number from their data base. Two days later I get a text from +447540563469 saying thank you for requesting life insurance quote when is a good time to contact you!!!

Just received a phone call from this company, very rude and clearly a very unprofessional company. I spoke to a woman who was very rude and hung up on me. I called back to kindly ask them to remove my number and they already knew who I was before I spoke. She was very umprofessional and kept telling me it was a personal line and they were not a company and couldn't justify their reason for calling.

A forgeiner girl contacted me trying to convince me about the sold-mortgage. I replied "Yes", then started asking about my bank details; she thought speaking with a dummy box.
I said sorry my English is poor, could you speak Russian? said no Russian then i suggested arabic or chineese. Finally got to conclusion to send me an email, certainly gave her a faked email.
If will Call next time will use some nice Janpanese words and let her sort them out.

Apparently I have life insurance details to sort out (I'm in early 20s), I have multiple PPI claims from vague loans I must have taken out at some point before I was born, and I have car insurance - despite the fact I neither own a car nor have a license. But of course, this is for my benefit as "they are not selling a thing". They refused to name themselves each time they called me so I hung up.

Had a call from a man who was asking me if I had life insurance. I said that i felt uncomfortable taking this phone call and if he could remove my number. He said this is not a cold call and asked me again if I had life insurance. I then said, I really don't feel comfortable and really want my phone number off the list because I don't feel comfortable taking the call. He became aggressive and was saying but do you have life insurance and I said finally, I know you're doing your job but I don't feel comfortable having this conversation please take my number off the list. He then said goodbye and hungup.

Another scam call aiming jobseekers I guess. I had another one from another number as soon as I started looking for jobs. I called back, music-then an automated male voice said "Your call is very important to us, you will be redirected to an agent" and music again. It took me just a few seconds to realise I was deceived once again..

Im on 02 rang from uk and it doesnt even ring out it just hangs up, i had these calls like a month ago from this number, when i rang back it just kept saying 'goodbye' then hanging up.. I swear i blocked it!!! Really not happy, im 17 in full time education living with parents dont know where they get my number from for selling things or ppi!!! Im not old enough how can i claim for anything?

They called me while I was on a lecture and I could not take the call. After the lecture, I called them and was put on hold for ten minutes and their automated system promised to call me back.
After ten minutes, the system said "Goodbye".
I called again wasting money on my mobile phone but at the same time curious to know who they are in case it's a job opportunity, again after ten minutes, it was a "Goodbye"
I called the third time and it was the same.
I think this practice of deceiving someone that a call will be answered must stop. It costs money even to the most vulnerable who try to serve every penny for a phone call.
Who ever they are and how ever powerful or criminal, someone somewhere in this civilized society MUST HOLD THEM TO ACCOUNT. -

Received a call from them and answered. There was no one on the other line, just very noisy. I called back (thinking it was something important), but the number was not available. Then I googled it and found out what is really happening. I blocked the number (although I suspect they will call again from other lines....)

They call 2 to 3 times a day - every day, but hang up if I answer, although on the one occasion I did get someone to speak to me, he told me I was a c**t for not being interested in his products - I hung up on him that time. It is an insurance company calles McCaskill & Morse. Very rude. I have emailed them to ask them to explain themselves but have had no reply. Have since reported them to Companies House and to OfCom. Would urge everyone not to ever buy a product from this company.
