Sent me some claims forms earlier this year regarding PPI claim, after receiving a cold call. They were going to take 55% out of the proceeds including VAT. I told them I could do it myself for nothing and told them not to bother me again. Thy have called me again, twice in January 2014 regarding financial advice. I told them on both occasions to stop the calls. I have now reported them to TPS.

Ring 2/3 times a day every day until I get connected to them. Trying to sell mortgage services, and mis-sold PPI's. VERY ANNOYING and need to stop calling people registered on the TPS.

They are EMCAS a Claims Management Company They rang me about a missold endownment insurance policy. They got my number after I did a survey. I have seen unfavourable comments about them on moneysavinexpert.com

This company keeps calling in the middle of the day, asking for my husband (he's at work) and saying they are 'professional claims handlers' then putting the phone down when I say he's not here! I am also on the telephone preference list.

calls a couple of times each day. probably automated calls. no response once taken. annoying.
missusfred replied 5/3/12, 2:34 PMcalled me by my name - wanted to know about my endowment mortgage (don't have) and PPI claim (don't have). Said they are allowed to call me even tho I'm on the telephone pref scheme. Said I had filled in a survey with the info (no I didn't). Asked them to take me off their list. Office seems to be in Torquay.

TPS took this on-board,They rang them and told them not to ring me again. Got a letter from them apologising for their actions.I told them that I didn't accept their reasons but didn't get any further. They really are parasites,lining their own pockets. You can take all their services on-board yourselves and claim all the compensation, without the 45%, they take off you. Good luck.
