Indian or Pakistani scammers, it's a survey this time, reality, they are fishing for personal details about you to go with some basic info they already know, a sort of fill in the blanks exercise almost certainly to pursue identity fraud or theft from Your bank account, give no information, lie to them or give false info and block the number.

Indian sounding genteleman called, asked me if I was Mr >>>> XXXXXX. He got my name correct but I lied and said "No".
He then asked are you a family member? I said "No".
He obviously realised I wasn't telling him the truth and he started pretending to cry that I wasn't a family member! Then just hung up.
This sort of thing wouldn't normally bother me but the call started identically to a worrying scam that happened earlier today.
I have barred the call on my handset and would suggest you do not answer this number.

This No has now rung me 3 times in the last 2 days. I NEVER pick up my phone until I know who is on the other end. I will continue to say this. Buy an Answerphone. Cold callers NEVER leave a message. Message just says: "the other person has cleared". Frustrating for them. Peace of mind for you!
