Threatening call from USA/Indian voice at 8.30 a.m. claiming to be from HMRC saying my daughter owed £4998 income tax and I needed to pay in the next hour or the next call would be the police to arrest her.I said she was at work and I would have to speak to her first then call him back. My daughter hasn't lived at this address for over 10 yrs. I asked him to send paperwork evidence he said he'd visited my house on the 14th and 19th of June with it and now it was such a serious case she should choose to pay up in the next hour.

An American male calling from HMRC in Aberfeldy on a Saturday..

When I asked him why HMRC was calling on a Saturday he immediately put the phone down.
