Called regarding "money I am owed from a loan prior to 2011". I told them that I couldn't remember any such loan, to which they replied it was regarding finance for a car. I've never had a car on finance so I just hung up and blocked their number.

Don't know who these people are or how they got my number.
I only ever first set foot in the UK 2 years ago, so there's no way I could have possibly taken out a loan. I also have no credit cards, so I know that I don't have any PPI refunds coming to me - however, if they want to give me some £££ for free, I'll be happy to accept... Katy needs a new pair of shoes ;)
These people will also be entered into my "Do Not Pick Up" contact on my phone... I've got a contact specific ring tone set up (an annoying "alarm" sound) so that if I'm away from my phone, I'll know that I don't have to stop what I'm doing to go and pick up the call. -

Had a missed call from 01913009015 to my mobile.
I called them back (withholding my number) and they said I was owed a refund from some loan that I had taken out.
Told them their info is incorrect, the bloke was insisting I was owed money from a loan, to which I told the plonker its a load of waffle as Ive never taken out any loan in my life, he quickly hung up.
Now I withhold my number and bombard them with calls, say you got their number from a friend and you're interested in a loan.
Keep them on the phone for as long as you can - think of it as a public service - longer you keep these scammers busy the less chance they have of conning the vulnerable out there.
PLEASE withhold your number and waste their time and wind them up, if you cant beat them join them I say!

Scumbag company recently fined £50,000 for breaching Telephone Preference Company guidelines stating people who opted out of marketing calls (a little like opting out of junk mail). They breached it and were busted.
Avoid. They are using a North East number (0191) but are from Halifax, West Yorkshire. -

I have had many calls from this place. last time will be today when i fronted the man and returned the questions back to him....he clearly didn't have a script ready on his computer to reply. Then put the phone down on me...how rude. these people are scum

Keep getting calls from this number I answer the call is forwarded to the call centre agent and they just keep hanging up, apart from being annoying surely with the crap stats the call centre must be having they hopefully won't be around for too much longer

WI received a call from this number and when I answerewd the person said hello thenhung up. When I called back a VERY RUDE gentlemen kept telling me that I dial the wrong number. I explained to him that this is a mobile so I didnt even have to dial and he just kept repeating himself like a moronic parrott.

I have had five calls from this mob now - all different numbers - all liars who do not give their real company name - and all telling me I can claim for PPI issues (which I never took out). When pressed they LIE about what records they have. It would appear to be nothing more than the telephone directory.

As previously reported, they claim to be offering advice and claims pack to reclaim costs incurred through ppi taken out with loans prior to 2011. Wouldn't say who he was representing nor could he tell me who the refund was due from.
Just hang up and block if possible. -

I don't answer unknown calls, looked at this website, having recently signed on to all these c.v job sites it seems logical that what many are suggesting on here to be true and they are taking numbers from c.v's. Why are these people pestering job seekers most of us are idiots with no money anyway, thankless task lol

I set them up! Bought a £1 SIM from tesco, then a month later I sent a false CV to Jobsite, and within two days started receiving these calls! So it is the staff at Jobsite who are selling our phone numbers.

This is the 2nd phone call on my mobile in two days saying that my son may be in receipt of some money. When I asked who they was they repeated that they wanted to speak to my son as it was in his interest and it was confidential, dater protected and so on then and wanted his mobile number. I informed them that I was his mother and if their not prepared to give me information then I'm not prepared to divulge information under the dater protection act. They hung up!

Don't know how he got my mobile but he rang saying I was overcharged interest on a loan between 2001 and 2011. I explained to him that I'm 22 and it wasn't even possible for me to take out a loan in 2001 because I would have been 9 years old. Bell end.

Called from "The Specialist Team". Did know my name, but were unable to confirm anything else to me. Stated that I am due a payment back from one of a few companies on a loan prior to 2011. One of the lenders was Black Horse.
When I stated that I don't know who the caller is, the caller's reply was "I'm Daniel".
Caller was completely unconvincing as a party i would want to deal with, genuine or not!
I told him i would find the company details myself and contact that way - always my advice :)
