Unfortunately I fell into a lot of debt and Vanquis was part of that debt although I only had 150 limit on my care. After my first late payment I was getting about half a dozen calls from their vast range of different numbers. I've been called at night, weekends and even on my work phone. This was causing a lot of unnecessary stress. In a way the stress pushed me to seek help. I contacted CAB about 6 weeks ago. They reviewed my situation and suggested I apply for a Debt Relief Order which I did. My application was accepted and my paperwork came through yesterday. So if Amy of my debtors contact me now which they shouldn't I am now able to tell them I am not allowed to pay them. So I'm a strange way thanks for pushing me to seek help. And thank you CAB...best move I have ever made!

Vanquis like most of these criminal card companies use the banking system to give you fake credit!! yes fake... then call you all the time.. Look into A4V or Accept for Value on google.. These companies are just pests ... anyway Under the protection from harassment act they can only call a few times a day and you can say to them this is NOT the customers number and its for private use only and under this act if you continue to harass me the you the caller can go to prison for up to 7 months, just get the CEO's Name .. Peter Cook (CEO) and they will soon back off... I kept getting calls on landline until I told them that act and that's its used for private use only !! that was 5 days ago now... research Meet your straw man and go to www.getoutofdebtfree.org - were being scammed by our banking system.

Vanquis are an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE
I paid today yet they are still ringing me numerous times ( i made a promise to pay two weeks ago), they call about ten times a day from different numbers!! Drives me insane. Sooner its paid off the bloody better.

This bank is the worst I have ever seen I had my first baby on August 22nd of this year I missed a payment a few days before giving birth as I was in hospital I answered the first time they called and said it will be paid when I get home from hospital as I have been booked in 2 have a induction they didn't believe a word I said on the 21st of August the short time I had my phone on just giving family members an update on what was happening they were constantly calling me so I answered and give off and the man I got was nice and said he will put a hold on my account which was nice but u got home the same day I had my baby and there was the calls starting up again this company needs a class or two in customer service

Its Vanquis u can tell its an auto dialler cos theres a pregnant pause big enough for me to say Hello twice before it auto allocated to a rep I just answer say hello and if no reply hang up and dial 1471 to get the number . they call 3 or 4 times a day even had them call or Aqua call at 10 :30 PM on a sunday and 7:30 on a Saturday morning once they called on BOXING DAY

I am getting at least five calls a day. Pee takers. Bills not due til 6/8 cheeky ass holes. I am a support worker and was working from 8 am until ten pm the following day and they said they didn't believe me so I hung up. Fed up of constant calls.

Blocked this number and many others. My bill isn't due until 2nd of July and they are ringing me and pestering me to pay they aren't getting anywhere since I have until Thursday to pay! They are very aggressive and I end up hanging up because they don't even give me chance to tell them I have until the 2nd to pay! Worst thing I ever done getting a card from them. I don't even use it anymore just paying it off. Do not get credit from them! Vanquis are awful.

Vanquis Bank. Get a call every day for them and everyday I explain to them that no one at our address has a Vanquis Card nor have we ever had one. Every day they say that they will remove our phone number. Plain harassment from stupid people.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering.
For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below.
If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for 'Debt Management' so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily.
Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection.

yes they will call because its all automated and they can only do it for so long before they sell the debt on ... which then you can under the bills of exchange say to the bailiffs you paid the debt !!! thank you because under the act once the bill is paid its closed !!... if you did not know! if your going down that route! but its worth the research!
