Tried to say they were legit service connected to TPS. Said I had already paid and therefore wouldn't need to pay, just confirm details.
Couldn't tell me when I registered got aggressive when told to stop. Hung up when I said I'd phone police. -
Lady with strong accent purporting to be from the telephone preference management department. Wanting to clarify name address etc. When asked what company she worked for she repeated 'telephone preference management department'. When asked department of what company she hung up. The phone number is not recognised if you try and ring it back.

Caller claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Service and wanted my bank card details - when I asked for further details to confirm the call was from the TPS he hung up! (I had no intention of giving any bank card details anyway)

After numerous calls from this number and other numbers with the dialling code 01922. They said they were from the telephone preference service asking if I was getting lots of unwanted calls.When I replied "Yes, yours" I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my telephone blocking service. I told the caller he wasn't the TPS and he terminated the call.
