I totally agree with you,It is definitely a scam,From a dormant Insurance company called QUOTE DIRECT VAN INSURANCE,I ran a company check on them,And they have no funds,And have also had CCJ'S against them,They probably take your money,But you get no Insurance. -

He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. This guy said he was from vancompare who I have actually used before. Quite confusing but almost certainly a scam. The guy was South African

This is an insurance broker.I get calls like this around this time every year when my van insurance is due.someone somewhere has sold them my tel No.Ignore and they will stop eventually.or answer.you may get a good deal(or not!)

This bunch of idiots continue to make silent calls throughout the day. There is no-one there on pick up. When I call back I get a voicemail saying you were called by the above company and they will call again later. Extremely annoying!!!!!

Went on a van insurance website where I had to give my number. Immediately started getting phone calls. I don't answer them so don't know who they are. Apart from that...the insurance quotes on the van insurance site were ludicrously high...use gocompare or some other trusted comparison site, not these sheisters.

I am receiving numerous and sporadic calls , only rings a couple of times , then rings off. I know it's van insurance as spoke with them initially and told them I wasn't interested, they probably purchase old data from comparison web sites after they have been flogged to death by initial companies when you go onto comparison sites for quotes.

Following a search on GoCompare your details are passed to these guys who call offering a better quote and ask you to hold the line while they transfer you to another company who has no idea who you are. I guess they get kick backs for getting you there.

this number might ring several times for just a couple of seconds each time so when you pull the mobile from pocket, they have rung off an you get a million missed calls and no message left. this is so annoying especially as I am a window cleaner up a ladder all the time

Asking for Daniel (I'm a woman for a start) ... When I asked what was it regarding a boy replied with van insurance (I've never owed a van) when I responded with I think you've got the wrong number he rudely replied with you could of just said that in the beginning and hung up.
