Received a call today from "Martin" who claimed to be from TPS, confirmed my phone number (which he rang to), my name and address and then asked me to confirm my expiry date for credit/debit card - when posed the question "why" he needed to know financial details for a free service, he suggested It was for verification purposes - I declined and asked from which company he was calling, at which point the phone went dead - SCUM!
Sassylassy replied 10/20/16, 4:32 PMI also had a call from these people today - I was suspicious and was asking the pakistani sounding guy questions he hung up!! SCAM He wanted to charge me for blocking overseas calls

Said was from TPS. Sounded like calling from India but said he was in Maidenhead (couldn't pronounce it...). Sounded dodgy, asking me if I was "still receiving nuisance calls and that he could block them" - and he eventually gave up the call.
