Attempted to gain credit card details and expiry date etc saying they were telephone preference Service. They closed the call down when I refused to give details

This is a SCAM. Called me asking for credit card/ debit card details so they could block unwanted calls. I told him this was a scam and he repeated "a scam" and then hung up.

Same as the others, said if I didn't confirm my expiry number I'd be inundated with telesales calls. Said his name was mark, when I pressed him for his second name he said "whalberg"

Indian accent and claimed to be from the telephone preference service requiring confirmation of my credit card expiry date to renew the service. I told her she was a scammer and terminated the call.

Obvious scam.
Said his name was Mark, Strong indian accent hard to understand.
He claimed to be from the Telephone preference scheme management.
Told him he was a scam as today was a bank holiday in UK and not a work day. -
Wanted to comfirm my address and expiry date of my debit card? I put the phone down I'm not giving this type of info over the phone!
ginger replied 2017-05-01 14:05:27have just been called on this number and they said they were from a telephone company and wanted to help me block calls. asked me to confirm address so rang off.
