   This company keep phoning me asking for a Duncan Cruickshanks who I believe used to own my telephone number.
   Tonight they tried ending the call with silence but usually they are abusive, or just ask for the person who pays the household bills.
   My number is ex-directory & registered with TPS, makes no difference to these people though.

    I made the mistake of answering one of these calls. Thought I'd be nice and answer the questions, gave details as requested e.g make of washing machine. Said no to Companies contacting me, within 5 minutes the phone rang non stop and the types of people that were calling it was obvious it was off the back of that call. Sigh.

    First time I've been called on this number, but I've had calls on 02030926443 & 02035192619. Indian voice normally going by a very English name. Last guy called himself Raymond. I have an inclination that they know my voice by now. As I speak, they hang up. The above number ending with 443 is supposedly from Consumer Lifestyle. Very persistent and extremely annoying.

    Sounds Indian? voice can't say my name doesn't understand me/my accent/dialect they sound agitated and blunt now I just pick up and say nothing or leave it to the ansaphone - if you do ring back you get ansaphone for 'consumer lifestyles'

    Rings on an almost daily basis asking for my wife. If she is not available then they wish to speak to me. A long rambling questionnaire on totally unrelated issues. When I challenged them I was haranged with "What's your problem?" A very unpleasant experience

    Not a day goes by without a 'moron' calling from this number and asking to speak to a Mr Green. The same person calls on a different number if you block the number they are calling from. They are of course 'cretins' who have little understanding of the simple English word "NO". I leave the phone off the hook and let the idiot babble on at 'No expense to me'. I am surprised that this number has not been traced and legal action taken against them, resulting in a hefty fine. Sting them heavy so that they will second thoughts about continuing in their harassment of people who do not want to hear their crap. They have been known to say they are the HMRC ( Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs ). I doubt that very much !
