Dave reported Frank/BT with the number 02030971846 as Cost trap
Claimed to be "Frank" from BT Internet calling about my broadband connection needing "adjustments to the port settings" and that my PC had reported this to them.
I kept him talking for a while and suggested that the next thing he needed was to activate remote access on my PC. He didn't seem to like this comment and brazenly asked me if I knew, "with all my computer knowledge..." what remote access even was! It was only when I told him, "Thank you for staying on the line so long - this call has now been traced by the Police Fraud dept..." All I heard, in his thick Asian accent was "F@€K You!" screamed at me, then he hung up.
I suspect that "Frank" was either on his last day at work for BT, or more likely, he was a pathetic little pond dweller trying to scam people.
This is a scam number. Please report it if "Frank" decides to call you next..
