Stealing your phone number
I rang to register AEG products on two occasions on 0800 9521100. On BOTH occasions I stated that I do not want any marketing material and NEVER gave my phone number to them at any time. After each call I received a message from Domestic and General for a survey. Domestic and General will illegally copy/steal your phone number or the number of the phone you used, WITHOUT permission at all. This is illegal under GDPR and presumably before 25 May 2018 dishonest and illegal if you did not give them permission to use it. If you borrow a friends phone or even call them from a call box they will still ring back.

Had call from this number within half an hour of calling Domestic & General....never had spam calls on my (work) number before. Perhaps it is a coincidence, but I kinda doubt it !
