    They started calling after a small one-off donation I made.
    I received a text then stating "if you'd rather not hear from us in the future text "NOCALL GOSH" to 78866", which I will now do!

    The caller confidently asked for my husband by name. When asked who was calling he replied "a registered charity " but refused to say specifically. What had he to hide? He said he would call back, but I have asked him not to.
    Very dodgy and an utter liberty to cold call a private number and then refuse to give identity.

    Said they were employed by Great Ormand Street hospital to fundraise When quizzed as to how much money per pound donated went to GOS she replied 75p the rest want in admin costs etc I am disappointed that this marvellous institution has to resort to this method of fundraising

    I first got a call about a month ago asking for donations to help build part of the new children's hospital I help many charities really can't afford anymore told them this ask if I could pay just £3 a month I saiid no sorry ok then may we call you back in a few days give you time to think about it it's for a good course trying to play an my sympathy I'm fed up with them I'm getting two calls a day or more just don't answer anymore

    Sign up for the telephone preference service (TPS) stops UK-based cold callers contacting you. Think it has problems stopping overseas callers though so far from perfect.

    If it is on your mobile you should get truecaller app it blocks all cold calls and ppi numbers and if new ones you can report and it goes onto the list so no one else gets them

    Left a voicemail once claiming to be from GOSH. Never answered the phone to them. At first was getting up to 6 missed calls a day from them now only once a day, usually around 8pm. They leave long voicemails usually just muffled sounds.

    I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don't forget to care!
