24/10/19 - have just had a new phone from vodaphone and received two 'scam' calls in the last two days ??? Never rec'd any on old number?? caller very rude & aggressive knew he was talking BS as I don't do the euro millions lottery.

Tried selling me insurance for water, drainage and general plumbing at 30% discount on our existing insurance. kept them on phone whilst he went through all the costs it could save me, but when I just asked him "Okay how much will this insurance cost" he hung up.
Funnily enough we have had the local water board (Severn Trent) out over the last couple of weeks telling us we have a water leak between our meter and house, after they dug up the road and put in a new valve.
So are Severn Trent selling customer information to scammers.
