This number has called me repeatedly over the last 10 days at least 4-5 times a day.
They are trying to sell me a subscription for puzzle books. After the usually no not interested & where did you get my number from in x-directory to now not answering it. I've told TPS but the calls keep coming. So I now got so fed up with them that I answer the phone by saying a different fast food takeaway chain & asking them if they want to place an order- that confuses the hell out of them.K41 replied 2017-10-20 00:00:49Brilliant, wish Iād thought if that. Had to buy BT Call Blocker when began getting up to 25 calls a day, now I just see the numbers in the Call List. TPS>ICO do not seem to be able to stop these scams that we are all receiving -
Unsolicited calls several times a day.
Installed Truecaller app and it blocks them automatically. Phone doesn't even ring. -
Got my number from one of those 'survey' websites. Now calling every two hours. Not happy.

This getting beyond a joke. So far, three times this morning and numerous times yesterday. I've reached a point where I'm swearing at my phone.

They start off asking for someone else and when told that they have wrong number, they try to engage you in a conversation about something new and digital. I have reported to TPS - best not to answer as it sounds like a hard sell tactic, probably a scam. I would really like to know how they get people's mobile numbers?
