Just taken a call from a girl to my company saying she was from the energy care centre offering me £2000 towards new doors and windows. I clearly answered with my company name and she ignored this and carried on - so I had some fun with her saying I didn't have any doors or windows - she then said - do I have a brain and put the phone down. I wanted to say yes I do that is why is why I run my own company and I am not working for a call centre using a false phone number and making random calls for min wage but didn't get the chance. Avoid and hang up if you see this number

Got several silent calls from this number. On the final one a woman asked for someone who lived here 3 years ago but obviously only had the surname as she asked for "mr or mrs" - there was no mr. She cut the call off when I said there was no-one here of that name.
Have now reported the call to ICO and barred the number from calling me again. -
This company had the brass neck to ring me twice within 10 mins, even though I told them to remove me from their database. I'm sure this company have rung before, and I always ask to be removed from databases of such firms. This time I insisted on talking to a supervisor; I told them I would be charging them for my time and reporting them to ofcom. I have done the later and would encourage everyone to do the same (unless they like getting these types of call); once I find out the company address I will be billing them for my time - the cheeky little monkeys!!

I have had previous calls from this, possibly, fictitious company, and have asked for my details to be removed. I was called again, today, I when I said that, I was asked for the name of the person who I had talked to. Obviously, I do not know that but when I pointed that out conversation became heated. I consider that this could be considered criminal harassment.

Claimed to be Home Information Center, told them I couldn't find that company on web or company house, then claimed to be Europlus - selling 'free' fictitious home improvement vouchers - but actually data mining to pass on to UPVC companys.

They got as far as saying something about energy saving and i left them to it. Heard it all before.......rather boring!
