So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don't even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren't going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

(Sorry - chose the wrong rating on first submission) Two calls today from this number, both using the same 'script' on home security. Asked for me by name on a business line which is CPR listed so legally should not receive any unsolicited sales or marketing calls. They introduced themselves as "Crime Prevention Officers" looking into recent spate of burglaries in area and gave the impression they were connected to the police if not actually officers. As we had an attempted burglary recently I thought it was the follow up I had been promised. BUT...it was the sales pitch 'in your area', 'today', 'free alarm system except for monitoring' (i.e. not free) that made me suspicious. When challenged they admitted they were not from the police.
Underhand approach and illegal cold-calling. Who in their right mind would put their home security in the hands of such a company? BEWARE! -

Trying to sell a monitored Burgular Alarm system. Where they got my wife's work number no one knows. We have a good burgular alarm, it has 4 legs, lots of teeth and can make lot's of noise. If we miss the action we review what happened on the CCTV playback.
