   The telemarketer calls up and says that your name is on their system, in my car a year ago, and the account is inactive.
   
   Apparently, I signed on the internet (I did NOT) and they just have a name and a phone number on their records.
   
   When I challenged this they said that people use the internet and things like youtube all the time, and may not remember signing up for what they called a bonus product or something...
   
   Anyways, they say the bonus amount I signed up for (not real money) was £50 and now due to fluctuation in the FX markets it is now 414 GBP or perhaps some number like that.
   
   So I am mentioning that that must be someone else's money and the lady says that it is not real money anyway. Offers to delete my account but wanted to let me know.
   
   Very weird, and certainly not correct.
   I would never just give a real financial vendor my just my name and phone number. They would have a lot more info.

   What a scam
   Gentleman by name of Daniel advised me that I had both clicked on an advert on a social media website and had won £100 of trading which had now accumulated to £515 and to release the money I only had to deposit the same amount. Played along with him for a bit until he asked for the money then told him I didnt have that spare, he then dropped it to £200 - ended up hanging up on him and he rang back 10 minutes later to speak to my husband with the same spiel!
