Chinese lady called me, spoke very quickly. Not sure she mentioned the company name or hers. Said would mail me tomorrow with details of a teaching job as she had seen my CV on a job website. Which one I would like to know as I specifically did not want my details passed to anyone but the job website and legit companies offering jobs that are relevant!

I have had to get a new mobile number since putting my CV on various job sites. IT agencies are like ambulance chasers, they know nothing about the skills they are recruiting for and are only interested in talking to you if you have left a job in the last couple of weeks.

A man with a strange over-pronouncing accent leaves voicemails saying "I have found your CV on [website] and am interested in discussing a role in China with Teach TEFL".
Rather annoying considering my profile clearly states the locations I'm willing to work, China is absolutely not one of them. Just seems like they're throwing calls at any random English CVs they find in the hopes of catching someone. -

Phoned saying they'd seen my profile on a job site and were sending me an email about a teaching job in China. They didn't even ask what my email was so not sure what the point of calling was.
Have not received any emails about it as yet -

I have recieved numerous calls after signing up to job search websites asking me if I'd like to teach English as a foreign language in China. I was called twice and left two voicemail messages. The first saying that a gentleman had found my Cv on Reed.co.uk and would like to speak about a teaching opportunity in China. The second voicemail, was a man huffing and puffing down the phone as if he were annoyed.
I am quite annoyed myself as I did not select the Education sector as one I was interested in and have no idea why these people aren't contacting me properly through Reed, rather than blowing up my phone on a Saturday morning. -

I registered on total jobs, jobstoday, reed, monster etc etc, and stated my details were never to be given to anyone, and yet here we are, my mobile phone barraged with nuisance calls wanting to know if I want to go teaching in China. I've rechecked all my job site registrations and double-checked my details are not to be given out. So I'm not sure which of the job sites have allowed just anyone to access my CV against my wishes, but I am not happy about it at all. Whichever job site it is has given all my personal details from my CV to scammers - name, address, qualifications, phone number etc, all of which can now be spoofed.
