Sarah Anderson also left a message for my wife on her mobile phone. This is an automated recording with an American accent. Message asks to return the call in order to discuss the investigation. Failure to return the call will instigate legal proceedings.
John Stone replied 7/10/18, 7:17 PMExactly the same happened today (10/7/18) to my wife. She called back and they knew who she was and where we lived! Scary! They made a demand for unpaid tax to the amount of £3,800 and threatened solicitor action. When she told them to forward papers to her employer they hung up! -

Left automated message on my voicemail claiming they were from HMRC and telling me to call back urgently. (HMRC do not have my mobile number.)
penney replied 7/10/18, 1:16 PMI spoke to a very aggressive man claiming to be John Anderson but very foreign voice. He told me the police would be coming to arrest me in 45 mins refused to give me any reference details.

I had a call from this number today 10/7/18. American accent, asking me or my solicitor to ring back once I have got the message. I'm always careful of calls like this so did not respond. These confidence tricksters should be locked up and the keys thrown away.
