   Just had call from this number. Beware total scam and this is not the first time he has tried to scam. Somebody should try and catch them and do something about it.

   Total scam. Called and claimed to be from a government agency about a loan I had taken out many years ago. I asked why the government would be calling and not the business itself. Was told they were sorting out the matter for the business. Was told to provide my current address so they can come and hand deliver the cheque. I asked why it can't be sent via post - was told it's urgent. I'm 100% sure this is a scam.

   Just had the same call - wasn't happy when i told him i had googled his number and it was rated untrustworthy why do they do this ??

   Phil Dawson called from the Ministry of Justice to offer me a refund on a loan I'd paid off. I strung him along so now I'm supposed to go and buy a £150 iTunes card and then call them back so they can send a solicitor around with a cheque for £3000. These people are quite stupid - how they con anyone is beyond me.

   So I rang them back, pretending that I'd bought the iTunes card, as requested, and they passed my call around until I got to a guy who wanted me to describe the card to him. I kept him chatting ("it's blue, plastic") until I got bored with him, then I told him that I couldn't believe they managed to scam anyone, given how dumb they obviously were. He got quite abusive, which quite brightened my day.

   This guy claimed he is from ministry of justice.I know for sure such department will send a letter instead of phone call . There is no reason I am aware of why ministers of justcice called.
