Had another call from this Number.
This time telling me that they are "Quadrangle" doing research for HMRC.
I called "Quadrangle" 0207 357 9919, they confirmed this is one of their numbers & they are carrying out research for HMRC.
The man I spoke to went to great lengths to point out they abide by "all the rules" when contacting people.
I suggest he listen's in on some of the calls his staff are making as saying your calling from HMRC is MISLEADING. -

called me doing survey about airports. Have I flown recently - no. Well, have you ever flown - yes. Well, when? - about 10 years ago. Well, where are you flying to for your holiday - I'm not, can't afford it. Does anyone in your house fly? - well, the chickens got out of the coop a couple of times, but other than that no not really. At this point, he realised he was not going to get any information. I asked him where he got my details from as I'm registered with telephone preference and need to report the matter, and he hung up...... if they were trustworthy, they'd check their records and not bother people - and they'd give details to make sure it didn't happen again.
