As others, I have received numerous calls from this number, twice messages have been left from an obviously recorded/robotic voice pertaining to be an HMRC Officer - first time from Bristol, second from London. Threatening action but without saying what for. Ignore the message and block the number.

Momo reported number 02080891327 as "HMRC" Imposters
Just received a call. When I answered, a beeped sounded, an automatic voice said "goodbye" and the connection ended. I called back straightaway and a woman, struggling to speak English, answered, telling me she was from HMRC. She asked me to verify who I was. I replied "you called me, you should know who I am". After a short delay(!), she told me my name, gave me her reference number (strange sounding) then said I was "a primary person listed in court proceedings! That I need to consult my lawyer." I replied "this kind of information should not given over the phone. Since you have all my details, put it in a letter to me. Goodbye". End of conversation. Scammers! The information commissioner should be told of these calls.
