Got a ppi in progress got this call called the guys I dealing with and they advised that this is prob not a real call as never heard of them I have not phoned back goggle the number and found comments on this phone number which looks negative if a real call they will get in touch with guys I am dealing with

Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque.
I've never paid this amount of PPI. And it sounds to me as though the Paysafe vouchers are something which these fraudsters have set up so that when I buy the vouchers from the local coop the money is safely in their bank, but the cheque probably will bounce....it's got to be a scam. -

Caller (Tom) says a cheque for £3100 due, and something about a cancellation call relating to an Abbey (?) bank account. Calling my elderly father's number. I believe this to be a scam. Fortunately my father isn't able to return the call.
