They called to say they were a fraud agency after i had answered a mobile call saying someone was taking £600.00 from my account. when i told them i was a police woman and had reported the mobile number and recorded call, they tried with this number 02081449279 saying they were from the fraud team. Be very careful this has been used numerous times and i can assure you they are scammers after your money........

They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. This did not work so i was told to visit www.ammyy.com. Here they did gain access and I sat back to watch the mouse pointer open and close multiple files etc. Much file info was Transfered and after sometime they phoned again to ask if the PC now worked faster,,,,Answer was, "NO". It was then gave me their requested phone number and in turn asked for my email address....I am a 66 year old twit. Gave what they asked for. Eventually I phoned the number they gace pretending to have interest in Anti - Malaware. They said they would phone me agin in a few weeks. I now fear all after reading about Ammyy scam.

Joshayh replied 6/22/12, 6:06 PMThey just called me too. Showed me the errors and viruses and said they would get rid of them. I gave them access via teamviewer and watched them delete loads of temp files, and other odd looking files. Then they installed Malwarebytes and did a scan. I restarted my pc and it booted up real fast (i was actually having problems with my pc, it would not restart and was very slow. She said she had fine-tuned it and so far it seems to be running great. I just called the number and a guy answered and said they were an online tech support company their website is in development he said (!!) They didn't try to sell me anything but said they would call back next week. I haven't any problems and i really hope they are legit.. I usually don't let anyone touch my pc, not sure why I did this time. Fingers crossed!
