   Call from an Indian called Alex Parker I was told I had problems with windows on my computer, told him I didn't use windows and put phone down, This is a scammer have contacted police, concerning this number

   I've been called from this number atleast 6 times in the last couple of days...it always takes for me to say 'Hello' twice for them to start talking, so if I answer & no one replies I stay silent & then they hang up. Today I answered & the man (Indian accent) told me I had a problem with my computer...I said I didn't & even if I did then it was up to me to contact someone. I told him to stop ringing me & take me off the calling list ~ he told me 'no'. I said 'what do you mean, no?!!' and got angry at this point, shouted & hung up.

   Fifth time in last few days. In same call told they were calling from London but when passed on to the superviser they said they were in Australia. We have been polite, told them we know it is a scam, shouted, and spoken in an Indian accent but they still keep calling with the same script. I just tell them my computer is being slow and put the phone down and do a quick job or send a text to a friend. I get lots done whilst at the same time they are not conning anyone else. If we can't stop them we can at least slow them up. They even tried the old chestnut of I can give you the number of your computer to say we are legitimate. The number they give you is the SAME for all Microsoft computers.

   This number rang me today at 13.32, indian woman spoke saying my computer had been infected with very bad virus, but not to worry, she was there to help me....told her I did not have a computer.....but she kept going telling me to turn it on....I explained again....I DO NOT HAVE A COMPUTER.......it all went quiet, I think she may have got the hint!! Beware.....!!

   I had this number ring this morning. When the man with a foreign accent asked about my PC I asked which one (we have 2), but when I asked for the model number he said I don't know so I saif sorry I dont want to talk about it then and he hung up. I only said it because Watchdog had warned people about this.

    Three calls from this number over the weekend Friday / Saturday and now another on Monday 10.05am. did not answer any until this morning. Foreign sounding woman started to tell me she was calling about my computer - I hung up.

    two calls in two days. Windows safety centre, your computer has been compromised. Asked which one of the office computers she meant, she became confused and rang off.
