The CEO of Kantar, which runs TNS is a guy called Eric Salama. His email address is [email protected] and his mobile number is 07785 234505. Drop him an email and he'll get your number removed.
-
Email eric salama direct and threaten him with the police he soon gets your number taken off

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata.
Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn't let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs.
And when u click any of those annoying adverts to go away it wont let you, however during that 20sec period what they do is they steal all your metadata incl. your ip address, provider and telephone number, etc... And you end up receiving annoying calls from them. Simples!
TW*TS!!!

I'm TPS registered but that's not stopping them. 11 calls from this number in a month. This may not seem too bad to some, but the calls come in batches, ie nothing for a while then several in a short space of time. (they don't get through, I have a call blocker!)

Received an uninvited call to my landline number, claiming to be conducting a health survey on behalf of the UK Government. The health questions didn't concern me but the depth of personal info requested did. I now regret giving so much info away (including name, address, age, no of adults and children), which I might not have done with an email survey. Have resolved not to answer similar phone calls in the future, but now wondering whether the call really was legit. It sounded so at the time, but it's not knowing that bothers me.

rang 29/3/16 7.41 said they were calling on behalf of HMRC asked how many children we had. l said how did they get my number as there is only one person who rings my land line. they said HMRC dial nos at ramden
. l hung up -

Been phoning me constantly on a daily basis.
Received another call this morning at 10.13am
-
keeps calling every day where do they get our numbers from I am TPS registered and ex-directory, so someone is selling our private numbers to these people, that's where the problem is...I thought there was a data protection act, obviously doesn't apply to phone numbers. I have caller display and blocker, but then they use another similar number to try and get you that way too! this never used to happen so how come in recent years it has become allowable to pester people in their "castles" b474i

Getting really annoyed with these people
-
They called saying they were doning government survey etc , I told them I didn't want to know and also said we were registered with TPS. I eventually put phone down on them.
-
Has called before and I asked to removed from lists. This time, he said he had no list but would ensure I was not called again. No hassle but I am so fed up with Cold Calls. I now greet any unknown caller so coldly it's unfair on genuine callers whom I have asked to call.
-
They keep on calling me saying government survey etc , i keep telling them i dont want to talk to them sometimes they say ok and go other times i have to put phone down on them , bloody nuisance
-
Claimed he was doing a survey - just put the phone down. Being part of TPS clearly doesn't mean anything to them.
Libitina replied 2015-03-03 10:00:59I tried to complain about this company using the Tips and it states that it doesn't apply to market research which this company claim they are doing!Libitina replied 2015-03-03 10:02:39TPS (not 'tips'! Thanks auto correct!) -
Calls everyday but I only answer calls that I know, now I know they are rubbish, have sent an email to see if that gets the number removed? mmmmmm
-
kept me talking saying you've been very patient, I've only a couple of more questions. Eventually I hung up.
Annoying and worrying. -
Called Sunday morning claiming to be doing a health survey for the government. Told them i needed proof. Gave me a couple of freephone numbers to ring which also seem dodgy. having read this thread I've no doubt they will 'phone again but forewarned is forearmed.

TNS are owned by Kantar Group The boss is a guy named Eric Salama He has a Twitter Account @ericsalama take your complaints to the very top and see how he likes it.
-
Company called my ADHD sons mobile whilst I was out and he answered loads of health questions, including his age and his address. Shouldn't be allowed. He now knows not to even answer his phone unless he knows the number. Annoyed at this.
-
This number called me today and I supidly gave a lot of answers.
Kept me talking until I eventually said
this has gone on long enough and finished the call.
The questions are personal but they did not ask for tel nos.
I just hope I do not get any more calls -
Asked my wife personal questions which she refused to answer
-
Answered it once wouldnt listen when I told them I wasnt answering anything just straight into script claimed they were TNS. If so then I suggest everyone writes and complains to TNS who can be written to according to their code of practice

Pity, seemed a red hot tip to get them to act responsibly. -
These are indeed surveys on behalf of the Government. Survey companies and genuine market research are exempt from TPS rules. The government know enough about me already so number blocked.
-
Keep ringing everyday even though I have told them to stop and have TPS. Next time they call a football whistle will be blown down the phone at them
-
Surveys, refuse to remove tyour number, pain in the bum
-
A complete nuisannce over past five years.
-
These people call most days, evenings and weekends make no difference. Always the same thing - they are conducting a survey on behalf of the government. Have no idea how to stop them as they don't seem to understand when you ask them not to call again!

-
Definite cold call here - I've had calls from this number on a brand new sim card, haven't given the number to anyone at all, yet TNS have called me three times on this.
Funny thing - on the third call from them I answered. Got the same spiel as everyone else, basically "Hi, I'm calling from TNS, we're doing research for government departments... blah blah blah... Have you got a few minutes to answer a few questions?" to which I said sure. "Are you over 16?" he asks, yes I reply. He continued "I understand this is a mobile number - you're not doing anything dangerous at the moment, like driving or operating machinery, are you?" Not right now I said, OK says he... And he hung up. Lovely. Number duly added to reject list (thanks, Samsung). -
called but wer have call sinlaint so call was add to the list
-
This number calls me everyday, I have told them in the past to stop calling so now I screen all my calls. Really annoying.
-
They continued to repeat call even after asking them to stop, and informing them that we are unlisted and registered with the TPS.
Received calls even after threatening to report them.
Caller said we cannot stop them as they random dial.Ray replied 2014-06-30 11:32:52This recipient is unlisted and TPS as am I, so how the hell do these people, whoever they are get through. Just goes to show I suppose that privacy is a thing of the past!! -
These people phone me and told me they were ringing on behalf of the government - they wanted to know personal health details. Told them to write to me but they just carried on reading from a script and I had to put the phone down
thomo6 replied 2014-04-19 18:19:32Still getting numerous calls a day from these people despite asking to be removed from their "governments survey list" - grrrrrrrrrrr -
This number called our TPS registered landline this evening wanting to conduct a survey. When told we don't do surveys and are TPS registered so they shouldn't be calling us, they ignored it and continued with their script!
karen replied 2014-07-01 20:41:39Yes,same here--I just used my 'Choose to Refuse' option I have with TalkTalk
