apparently this is a carphone warehouse number,but in any case im sick of it ,i have had them ringing me but when i answer theres nobody there,ive just arrived back from a holiday in spain today and every day this number called i swear if i could get down the phone i would commit a crime,sod off and leave me alone

rang me about a non urgent matter apparently, just rang the number back and they give you the option to remove yourself from the list

Seems like some sort of scam.
Carphone Warehouse called twice in two days - purporting to being about having entered a competition with them. Snag is I have never transacted any business with Carphone Warehouse, let alone entered any "competitions".
Should the police be informed? -

LET US ALL TEXT THEM AND TELL THEM TO TAKE OUR NAMES OFF THEIR LIST AS IT IS HARASSMENT.
If we ALL do this they will be bombarded with texts, as we have all been bombarded by unwanted phone calls.

This number (02086175910) keeps calling my mobile. I clicked on their phone number and sent a text message telling them to take my number off their list or I will take further action. I told them it is harassment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I just have to wait and see if they do it or not.......................... will let you know if it works. May be if we all did this, they would know how it feels to be bombarded with unwanted calls/texts. Let's do it !!!

Every time I answer they put the phone down on me. My friend got a new phone & used my number too receive a call from them. My contract is up in May. Repeatedly calling my mobile & house phone. I work stupid hours of the day & it get at least 5-12 calls a day!!! Annoy the squat outta me now

Seems like a legitimate number (I.e not a scammer) they were actully very helpful and polite but I actully wanted an upgrade and they found me an amazing deal after I said I was thinking about ending my contract x

Carphone Warehouse keep ringing from this number to persuade me to upgrade my phone. Told them I'm not interested but they keep calling every 24 hours. Have blocked their number from my phone.

I have had 28 calls from them today alone wish they would just bog off ive better things to to and certainly wont use them for anything

Laura Lambert replied 2013-07-11 13:42:50I keep getting "nonurgent" phone calls from The Carphone Warehouse, and each time I have asked for my mobile number to be removed but clearly it has not been removed because I have now received yet another phone call from The Carphone Warehouse, if the calls are "nonurgent" like they say they are then why am I constantly getting phone calls from them. I do not like getting these messages - it's not as though you can ring another person to complain about it. Just wish they would leave me alone. -

Yes its Carphone Warehouse. If your phone is due an upgrade like mine is expect about 8 calls texts & voice mails a day if you have dealt with them in the past. Yes they offer good deals but they are SO ANNOYING! My contract has 38 days before it runs out so Im guessing I will be ignoring my phone during this time until I decide what phone & contract I want!
