David called me telling me my laptop was compromised and I must turn it on and give him a number now! I said I was looking at the number he had called me from and it said it was a scam - he went!!!!! Also watch out for 02030516812

This is the second time they have called me and the first time I had already called her out saying I knew it was a scam. This time I asked them to take down my license number. In case you are wondering it was F - U - C-, you can guess the rest. To which he replied Fuck You ma'am. Bless, at least he called me ma'am

Call from Microsoft, Asian lady named Hannah , stating she wanted to talk to the main user of our computer, I asked why, she wouldn't say, she did not ask for us by name and became quite agitated when I wouldn't give her any info. When asked how she got our number, she stated this is the number we registered our computer on, not true , so I politely hung up.

Called from"Windows Technical and Maintenance Centre" I knew it was a scam so left her chatting away to me for 5 minutes while I was working. I then asked her to hold while I checked my CLS id and just lay the ohone on the desk. After a couple of minutes I heard her shouting 'hello, hello'. She then hung up and called me back 5 minutes later. When I laughed at her and said it was a scam she hung up straight away. This people need dealt with very seriously. Lets just waste their time and keep them on the phone while we get on with our day to day things

Had a call for the 3rd day on a run about Windows on my laptop and/or computer. Told him 2 days ago thatmy husband was a computer programmer, which he is!, but he said this was different. Told him to stop ringing as I was sick of it. He then rang me again today asking by me by name and when I said, I know who you are, he started to tell me to f**k off over and over again while laughing at me. When I ring the number, it's either engaged or no-one answers. What a missive scam, be very careful everyone!

Have received two calls today from the same guy, called himself David, claiming to be from Windows, and my computer was about to crash, also after phoning me this afternoon, denied phoning this morning, petty sure it's a scam.

This guy just rang from a London number, apparently from Microsoft support centre. I asked him if he was one of the scammers I had read about, he was very angry at my suggestion that he might be dishonest. He said he was calling from U.S, and my ip number had sent error messages to Microsoft and he was actually calling to help me sort it out.
I asked him what my number was and fell about laughing as he reeled off about 24 numbers and letters. Even funnier, he then asked me to confirm what He had told me. I made up a set of random numbers and letters, laughing as I did so. He then really shouted at me telling me that I was not listening to him, he was genuine and trying to help.
I asked him to be specific about his location, all he would say was US, his English was dire and his use of the phonetic alphabet made me laugh, ant, bed, cat, dog, flower...
Yesterday they called from a York number, today they are using 0208. He was so unconvincing I can't imagine anyone falling for it, but I know they do.
Surely something can be done about these vermin.

From number 020 88523462 saying I had a problem with my computer. I said with my Windows 10 system he said yes log on and I will help. When I challenged him about what his product was he said no charge just log on. When I told him I had a MAC and didn't use windows he said "well go f**k yourself" and then hung up.

James called - same old rubbish as everyone else has reported. Let him go on for 5 minutes then asked which PC there was a problem with and could he give me the IP of the machine. He asked if I was a business - to which I truthfully replied we were a business with an IT specialist in house and an office full of MACs - not Microsoft. He laughed and hung up - at least I didn't get any abuse.
