Used local school names in an attempt to make me believe we had helped them with our sponsorship of some internet safety programme, offered me a £20 discount if I paid up today, bringing it to just £129!! Bargain, I thought! Then I remembered that I am no mug and these con artists need shooting down.

Lady called this morning to say I agreed to putting books into schools for safety campaign. Same as some of the other people here have stated. Said I confirmed it in March. I hung up and blocked. Its just another of those boring scams.

Received a call this morning from a company calling themselves Safety Guide Services saying I agreed to sponsor a book via a telephone call in April. I advised the woman that I had never heard of this or them and that they did not speak to me. She then said she'd need to go check the 'voice recognition' on the call and hung up!

Exactly the same as others have reported. Woman said i'd agreed to sponsor books for primary schools last June (Now October 16) and books were now ready. Would i like to designate a receiving school or should she choose one based on need. Sadly some people will believe this B~S and pay up.

Called saying I had agreed to sponsor a 'Safety Awareness Campaign' booklet raising funds for our local school - complete bullshit - very clever questioning: "...would you like your name on the thank-you certificate..."
- shame they didn't know that we are on the school fundraising committee :D

Called regarding another call they made back in May (when I said I wasnt interested), to say their safety campaign had completed and they wanted to sent a copy of the book to thank me for the sponsership. I reminded her that I hadnt sponsored them to which she continued to talk but then hungup mid sentence. I suspect its a form of aggressive telemarketing.

Tried ringing LOUISE back (as she put the phone down on me when I started to quiz her why she was ringing my company), but apparently they (her company) can't take phone calls!! IF ANYBODY FROM THIS SAFETY AWARENESS OUTFIT IS READING THIS then please take our number off your list of harassing companies to ring.
